::: Latest News of GHS in Taiwan

The Council of Labour Affair (CLA) officially announced the Direction of Existing Chemical Substance Nomination (ECN) to launch this interagency cooperation program (2009/11/2). The main objectives are to establish chemical inventory as the basic infrastructure for lifecycle chemical management, also to pave the ground for future new chemical notification (NCN) scheme. Chemical substances not listed in the chemical inventory could be subject to future NCN requirements.
